Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling realizará Summer Sun Princess ’25, una nueva edición de su icónico evento este 21 de julio. El evento estelar del evento será un combate por el Princess of Princess Championship en el que Mizuki defenderá su cinturón ante Yuki Arai. Pep S. Caro tuvo la oportunidad de entrevistar a la campeona antes de este importante show. Mizuki, es una de las luchadoras más populares en el mundo y los fragmentos de sus combates suelen hacer virales en las redes sociales. Los temas fueron sobre tener combates titulares contra Miu Watanabe, Miyu Yamashita y Rika Tatsumi, las gira en Estados Unidos en 2025, su próxima defensa contra Yuki Arai, luchar en un tren bala, su vida personal y mucho más.

Pep: Ganaste el TJPW Princess of Pricness Championship tras derrotar a Miu Watanabe. Después defendiste el título con éxito dos veces. Primero, derrotaste a Rika Tatsumi y luego a Miyu Yamashita. ¿Cómo te sentiste en cada uno de estos combates?

Mizuki: Naturalmente, todas eran oponentes muy fuertes y difíciles, así que hubo muchos momentos difíciles. Pero, entre tú y yo, encontrarlas y luchar contra ellas me hizo sentir muy feliz y agradecida.

Pep: Competiste en el combate TJPW Shinkansen Joshi Pro Wrestling. Fue una experiencia única competir en un tren bala de Tokio a Osaka. ¿Qué te pareció este combate? Si pudieras competir de nuevo, ¿qué ruta recomendarías?

Mizuki: Normalmente me siento tranquilamente en el tren bala, ¡así que fue emocionante poder desahogarme! ¡Pero al final, me mareé por completo en el combate!

¡La próxima vez, me encantaría ir a mi ciudad natal, Shin-Kobe!

Pep: ¿Hay algún otro combate único u original que te gustaría experimentar?

Mizuki: ¡Yo también querría luchar en un barco o un avión! ¡O quizás dentro de un parque temático…!

Pep: En abril, participaste en la gira estadounidense de TJPW y visitaste Las Vegas. ¿Cómo fue la experiencia de competir de nuevo en Estados Unidos? ¿Participaste en alguna actividad turística?

Pep: En julio, volverás a Estados Unidos y visitarás Dallas y Houston. ¿Cuáles son tus expectativas para la próxima gira? ¿Tienes planes de viaje?

Mizuki: ¡Estoy muy emocionada de volver a ver a todos en julio! Me encanta el espacio exterior y quería visitar Houston, ¡y quiero ir a la NASA!

Pep: ¿Qué otros países te gustaría visitar?

Mizuki: Arai-chan no deja de sorprenderme. Tiene mucho impulso, pero planeo transmitir el peso de este campeonato —todo lo que he sentido y construido hasta ahora— con todo mi ser.

Pep: You won the TJPW Princess of Princess Championship after defeating Miu Watanabe. Then you successfully defended the title twice. First, you defeated Rika Tatsumi and then Miyu Yamashita. How did you feel about each of these matches?

Mizuki: Naturally, they were all very strong and tricky opponents, so there were many tough moments. But, just between you and I, meeting and fighting them made me feel so happy and grateful.

Pep: You competed in the TJPW Shinkansen Joshi Pro Wrestling match. It was a unique experience competing on a bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka. How did you feel about this match? If you could compete again, what route would you recommend?

Mizuki: I usually just sit quietly on the bullet train, so it was exciting to be allowed to go wild on it! But by the end, I was totally motion-sick in the match!

Next time, I’d love to go to my hometown, Shin-Kobe!

Pep: Are there any other unique or original matches you’d like to experience?

Mizuki: I’d also want to wrestle on a ship or an airplane! Or maybe inside a theme park…!

Pep: In April, you participated in TJPW’s US tour and visited Las Vegas. What was the experience of competing in the US again? Did you participate in any tourist activities?

Mizuki: The best part was meeting and being cheered on by all the American fans! In Las Vegas, I even got to see the fountains!

Pep: In July, you’ll return to the US and will visit Dallas and Houston. What are your expectations for the next tour? Do you have any travel plans?

Mizuki: I’m so excited to meet everyone again in July, and I love (the outer) space and wanted to visit Houston, and I want to go to NASA!

Pep: What other countries would you like to visit?

Mizuki: Other countries I’d like to visit include South Korea, where I haven’t wrestled yet, and I want to visit London, England!

Pep: You’ve recently participated in other activities such as designer Alexander Wang’s special WANGMANIA event and an advertising campaign for FILA Korea. Are there any other jobs or projects you’d like to try?

Mizuki: Working with Alexander Wang and FILA Korea reminded me how much I love fashion, so I’d dream of doing more fashion-related projects!

Pep: Can you please tell us about your hobbies and what do you usually do in your free time?

Mizuki: In my free time, I eat a lot while watching anime! Lately, I’ve been rewatching “Detective Conan”.

Pep: At Summer Sun Princess ’25, you will defend your Princess of Princess

Championship against Yuki Arai, who is now a full-time wrestler with TJPW. What are your expectations for this match? What is your impresión of Yuki as a competitor?

Mizuki: Arai-chan keeps surprising me. She has a lot of momentum, but I plan to convey the weight of this championship—everything I’ve felt and built up to this day—through all of myself.

Pep: Thank you for participating in this interview. As we close, do you have any message for your fans around the world reading this?
